New plan

Mom said that ever since she started writing regularly, people have started following her blog. Soooo, every other day (or so) I will make a random post (or 2, or 3, or 4, or more ;-)  about things in my life (example: school, cool new stuff, reviews of movies or books, you get the idea). So, just letting any people who are looking at this blog and thinking "wow, she only posted twice since May!" that I plan to write more. sidenote: the main reason I'm doing this is because Mom said if I post regularly on my blog, I don't have to do english (HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) P.S. I take requests ;-)

UGGS!!!!!!!

Today, my brand new Ugg boots came in the mail! I'm so excited!! I got them when Yiayia came to town. It's awesome having a rich grandma! She bought my cousin a $400 helicoptery thingy that he can control from his ipod touch, so when I asked for boots that were "only" $170, how could she say no? ;-) I got "Crinkle-Cut" Uggs with a big button on the side and extra fuzz on the inside. You'll never guess the best part; THE'RE PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, I DON'T EVEN WANT TO TAKE THEM OFF TO SOAK IN THE NEW HOT TUB!

The birds are doing great. They now have names! In the picture on the left, from right to left, it's Lilac, Fluffy, and Peep. On the right it's Fluffy then Lilac then Peep. they now have all of their down feathers and are starting to gain their flight feathers. They're getting adorable little white dots all over. Every time I go to check of them, they think I'm there mom with food (hence the open mouths). That's all for now. See you later!

Look who we found out on our pool cover! He is soooooo cute isn't he? We're not sure what kind of frog he is yet, so if anyone can help us out, that'd be great. He has moderately bumpy skin, with a lot of splotches. There is a distinct light spot under each eye. He has large toe pads (he is using them to climb the book in the picture) and is about 1.5 to 2 inches from nose to tail. His belly is off white/light yellow, and the underside of his back legs are a bright and very stunning orange yellow. If anyone has any clue what kind of frog he might be, please leave it as a comment. To listen to him, click the play.

Daily Birdie Report

The birdies were sleeping both times we checked on them today.  It looks like their eyes are about to open, but since they were sleeping, we couldn't tell.  They are starting to grow their wing feathers.  Sorry no picture.

Update on the Birdies

The little Chicks are growing amazingly fast. In the 3 days since they hatched, they almost tripled in size. Only 13 more days until they will be considered "teenagers."

Baby Birdies

Birdie's mom here with the picture.  Just letting you know that my birdie has been sick and stayed inside today so I was the one who discovered the birdlings.  I felt bad for them shivering there without their momma to keep them warm, so we took one quick picture and left so momma would come back soon.  I hope she brought food!

Birdie's birdies are finally birdies!!!!

sorry i haven't been keeping you updated like i said i would. there were no changes up until today when,  THEY HATCHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pictures coming soon.

Invention convention!!!!!

today was the invention convention. I invented the "Ketch-all" a giant pocket to go in between the seat and door of your car to stop stuff from falling in  that little gap. It's late so I'll describe it better in the morning.

birdie's birdies: day 3

still nothing yet, although we got a picture of momma in her amazingly constructed nest. await pictures tomorrow.

Birdie's birdies: day 2

No changes yet.

Birdie's birdies

General Excitement here at the schoolhouse, what with the invention convention approaching so fast, and our yesterday's find. I was doing a little "outdoor invention work" with my friend when we spotted a robin sitting in her nest. Now it just so happens that the invention stuff we were doing required a camera, so we had it all ready. We went closer to get the pictures (we don't have a very good zoom) and momma robin flew away. Wo we decided to check for eggs, and, lo and behold! 3 perfect eggs! I will be keeping a daily blog-journal of how the eggs/peeps are doing, so stay tuned.

Chuzzles!!

Hi everyone! while on a new years cruise to the Bahamas (I know, awesome, right?) I was playing on the computer in the kids club, when i discovered CHUZZLE! chuzzle is so cool. If you've ever played jewel toy, bejeweled blitz, dino drop, or goobers lab, it's sorta kinda not really like that. first of all, Chuzzles are these ADORABLE little puff balls with no noses or mouths, just eyes. the object of the game is to drag chuzzles to make groups of the same color chuzzles of 3 or more. when you drag a chuzzle, the whole row comes with it.rows and columns are in loops, so if you hada row that went "red chuzzle, blue chuzzle, yellow chuzzle, orange chuzzle," and dragged it 2 columns over, then you would have a row that went: yellow, then orange then red then yellow.you probably can't understand what the heck i'm talking about because i know i did a lousy job explaining it, so here's a link to play it: http://www.games.com/game/chuzzle/ NOTE: The online version is only available for Windows users running Internet Explorer. there are other complications like big chuzzles and locks. I downloaded chuzzles for my ipod, and whenever it loads it gives me random facts about chuzzles. here are some (and no, I'm NOT making this up):

though colorful, chuzzles themself are color blind

chuzzles vary in sizes from microscopic to thrice universal.

when chuzzles pop it smells like cinnamon.

a Chuzzle has the proportionate strenght of a dolphin.

Chuzzles come into being with an inate knowledge of golf.

Chuzzles have no word for "inlet".

Chuzzles love cake, but only as a conversational topic.

Twelve chuzzles make a dozen.

Chuzzles have no pockets.

no chuzzle has ever lost their keys.

in nature, no chuzzle is ever mor e than 50 feet away from another chuzzle.

chuzzles have no fear of plaid.

chuzzles loge playing peggle.

chuzzles learn quickly but forget even faster.

chuzzles cannot beer the sight of the moon.

chuzzles tell each other apart with a series of complex hand signals.

chuzzles turn purple when they eat veggie pizza.

a chuzzle can always light a campfir, even underwater!

a chuzzle always knows where jupiter is

chuzzles are unsure how how hammers and nails go together.

chuzzle music generates from six chuzzles harmonizing their offspring.

And these are only some of the amazing traits of Chuzzles!
